This is Ladner Rotary Club event allows members to sign up themselves or their family members for friends.
You can put your name forward as a volunteer & let me slot you in (just let me know how many shifts, which days you prefer) or sign up as a volunteer and then contact Mike Storey with detailes as to whch shifts/dates/times. Ladner Rotary is providing the volunteers for directing parking for the 3-day Barnside Harvest Festival and our club is going to receive "monetary commission" from the Organizers which will help fund Rotary projects by the Club.

When you volunteer for a shift to help Ladner Rotary with on site parking, you will receive:
- A Festival Pass for the weekend so you can see any of the bands or visit the booths & food trucks on the Festival grounds
- A meal voucher good at one of the food trucks
- An invite to the Appreciation Party in the VIP area on Sunday where there will complimentary snacks and beverages
- Barnside Festival Volunteer T-shirt
Please send an email to mike@idealdoor.ca and advise which days you are available and or advise you are flexible for any position/shift.
Volunteers will be using a scanner to authorize pre-purchased parking vouchers and will be using a Square to collect credit card payment (or cash) if driver does not have a pre-paid parking voucher. This will be a position that requires very good eyesight and involves a lot of standing (plus there will be chairs to use when no traffic)
Volunteers will be directing traffic to specific "parking stall" as drivers enter Paterson Park: This will primarily be a position where you will be standing all shift
Volunteers will also be monitoring traffic at Ladner Leisure Centre, Delta Hospital and Mountainview Manor: This is mainly a stationary position with a chair provided
Please ask your spouse/partner, family members and friends to volunteer with you (minimum 19 years of age). In 2025, we will have at least 55 shifts to fill
Definitely needing Ladner Rotarians to volunteer for multiple shifts and possibly a volunteer a shift at the Ladner Booth inside the Festival Grounds if we have a booth this year.
We may have to reach out to outside Clubs and share the proceeds if are short volunteers.
