Long-time Rotarian and Polio Warrior, Dr. Lee Harman, a retired Ophthalmologist from the Rotary Club of Arlington, Washington, visited Rotary Club of Ladner on February 24, 2026 to present his "Miss Vicky Challenge" to raise funds for The Rotary Foundation's global campaign to End Polio. With him was Miss Vicky, herself: a refurbished 1931 Model A Ford. Lee and partner Winston Conyers, a real estate agent from the Rotary Club of White Rock, BC continue with their annual polio fundraising campaign, which has taken them to many clubs and communities including rallies with Miss Vicky from Peking-Paris in 2019 and Alaska-Mexico in 2023. Excerpts from Lee's presentation.

Lee is classic car aficionado, and Arch Klumph Society Member (donated US$250,000 or more to The Rotary Foundation). Winston is  a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, and a Major Donor. So both have already invested in and committed to the Foundation and End Polio. Together the two Rotarians and Miss Vicky have provided learning, advocacy, and fundraising campaigns for several years. At the June 2025 Rotary International Convention in Calgary, they presented a check of almost US$109,000 from the previous year's challenge to Rotary Foundation Trustee Chair Mark Maloney.
