1st Kirkland Ladner Scouts Troop requested financial support for their Pacific Jamboree
1st Kirkland Ladner Scouts Troop requested financial support for their Pacific Jamboree in July 2015. Pacific Jamboree is held every 4 years and is this groups only opportunity to attend as in 4 years they will not be eligible as they will be Ventures and too old to attend other than to volunteer to work. In 2015 it is being hosted in Sooke, BC. The Troop is actively pursuing other fundraisers to help with this venture that would see the kids participating but as you can see by the number they will require a little adult involvement. There is about 27 youth and 5 leaders so $16,000 is quite a goal for our fundraising.
