The Rotary Foundation transforms our gifts into service projects that change lives both close to home and around the world.

Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than US$4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects.

The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International enables Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty.

Through The Rotary Foundation we can make lives better in our community and around the world.
  • For as little as 60 cents, a child can be protected from polio.
  • $50 can provide clean water to help fight waterborne illness.
  • $500 can launch an antibullying campaign and create a safe environment for children.
Carolyn Ferguson is the Major Gift Officer for our Rotary Foundation in Rotary Zone 28, which spans 16 districts across four countries, including Canada, the USA, part of France and part of Russia. Carolyn works fulltime as part of a staff team of 12 Major Gift Officers in North America, of which 9 are regionally based inside their own Zones, and 3 are based out of World Headquarters in Evanston, IL.
