Over the years the Delta Hospital Auxiliary Society has generated many millions of dollars to support purchase of expensive equipment for the Delta Hospital. The Auxiliary has provided that valuable support through four businesses: Thriftshop in Ladner; Courtyard CafĂ©; Dogwood Gift Shop; Lifeline.

Former Accountant Frank Crema, Treasurer of the Delta Hospital Auxiliary Society, spoke about the Society and the Auxiliary's many valued services in support of the treatment, care and comfort of Delta Hospital patients, their families and friends and hospital staff.

The Hospital Auxiliary runs businesses which support the Delta Hospital and our community by  providing priority not only medical equipment, but annual programs (music therapy, spiritual health practitioner, recreational therapy etc.), and student and staff bursaries. The Hospital Auxiliary invites men and women to volunteer and give back to the community in operating these businesses and programs and with greeting, way finding, visiting patients, supporting recreational programs in Mountain View Manor and activities for cancer patients.

The Thrift Shop in Ladner sells gently used items in good condition such as clothing, linens, jewelry, furniture, art, sports items, luggage, books and
toys all at reasonable prices
Since 1977 the Auxiliary Gift Shop has been selling personal essentials, gifts and magazines to
patients and staff in the hospital
The Auxiliary Courtyard Cafe in the main foyer
of Delta Hospital serves freshly made food, snacks
and beverages
The Auxiliary Lifeline is a 24-hour personal help response system with two-way voice communication, worn as a pendant or on the wrist with an easy
click to receive help for elderly living alone or
patients recovering from an injury or surgery
