Local business owner Chris Scurr, who joined Ladner Rotary in September, told members of the club about his career and family life: immigration to Canada 52 years ago from England; his long career in sales and management in the business and technical computer industry; co-ownership of Royal Ocean Events, his wife Tonia's' Cruise Ship Wedding planning company; until his recent retirement, owner of Ebike Delta, electric bike company; active service with the Delta Chamber of Commerce and the Ladner Business Association; volunteer work for various community organizations. He received a Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee Community Service Medal for all his contributions to the Delta community.
