Founded by the Rotary Club of Ladner in 1986 and now an independent community organization, the Delta Community Foundation serves as Delta's charity for charities. It provides funds for community initiatives, charities and non-profit organizations in mental health, education, arts, culture & heritage, children & youth, environment, food security, Indigenous initiatives, neighborhoods, seniors and more.

The Delta Community Foundation supports causes that impact the entire community, not just a special area. It is designed for perpetual giving so donations can contribute forever and it allows donors to direct funds to the causes they care deeply about. Over the long term, grants and community engagement efforts contribute to the cultivation of a more compassionate and caring community.
Here are some of the many causes the Foundation has supported throughout Delta and to which donors can contribute annually or, through endowments for them or other charities and non-profits for generations ahead of us.
