CHRISTMAS DINNER a success!

Our Ladner Rotary Club CHRISTMAS DINNER was a special treat for some of the widows of past Rotarians. It was so nice to see them enjoying themselves and re-connecting with them.
The newly chartered Vancouver Centennial Club that was sponsored by our club came to the dinner and we all enjoyed the fellowship. We thank them for coming and sharing in our Christmas event.
Another treat was that some Rotarians brought their very well behaved children and/or grandchildren. Small gifts were handed out to the children after a wonderful dinner and some singing of Christmas carols. One of the favorites that got everyone involved was " The Twelve Days of Christmas" , with everyone participating and singing the chorus of their respective month's birthday (ie: if your birthday was in January, then you were the 1st month and were the "partridge in the pear tree" 1st chorus.)
Later we had the entertaining sounds of the "Bosa Boys" who were our own Don Burkett and his crew.
Â
Thank you to all who worked so hard in arranging everything and wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year.Â
