Dimentia comes in many forms, including Alzheimer's, and home care is part of the support which clients and their families can find in the community.
 
Laura Feldman, of the Alzheimer Society of British Columbia, which sees a world without Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, beginning with communities where people affected by dementia are acknowledged, supported and included. To ensure people affected by dementia are not alone, the Society educates and mobilizes a community of care around those suffering from some form of dimentia and supports research into the disease and people living with it.
 
Sarah Macy, of Bayshore Home Health, talked about her company's home support, independent living, home care, assisted living, health care in Delta and beyond. Bayshore works with health authorities, hospitals and health system planners to provide cost-effective, integrated care solutions for clients in their homes.
