Thanks to the many local residents who showed up for the Rotary Club of Ladner Rotary Shred A Thon on a sunny, warm April 5, 2025, the Rotary-sponsored food pantry program at Delta Secondary School for families needing a hand up and the South Delta Food Bank will benefit from the proceeds of just under $4,000.

Seven members of Ladner Rotary and one member of the club's Interact Club at Delta Secondary School unloaded boxes and bags of paper for shredding on the spot by a Shred-Wise truck on the property behind Eastlink, off Ladner Trunk Road. Special thank you to Delta-based event sponsors Ideal Door Ltd. and Millennium Pacific Greenhouses Ltd.

Rotary 5040 Past District Governor Ken Wilson (left) dropped in with Peggy to contribute paper for shredding. President Elect Brian Coe (right) as paper is dropped into a large bin for shredding.
