Vancouver-based Lithium Americas Corp. is focused on advancing to production lithium projects in Argentina and the United States: in Argentina, Caucharí-Olaroz with Pastos Grandes representing regional growth; in the United States, the Thacker Pass project in Nevada. When the Thacker Pass facility alone reaches full capacity of its first phase, it will produce enough lithium for rechargeable batteries in one million vehicles.

Eduard Epshtein, who has been Chief Financial Officer of Lithium Americas Corp. and is retiring after 17 years with the company, and Katherine Fortgady, in the company's Investor Relations department, spoke to Ladner Rotary on May 9th.
