Happy & Sad Dollars March 30
Kay was delighted to attend as well as be our judge for the day.
Ray was happy to be able to share his story of his life with us last week.
Don encounted a detour on the way to today's meeting, a water main had broken; "I love it when things go wrong"
Denis was happy to be visting REACH.
Graham says it is important for our REACH to exceed our grasp and Rotary is just the vehicle to allow us to do that.
Peter was happy to announce the unveiling of the new logo for the Delta Chamber of Commerce.
Mike was happy for all the new snow up at Whistler.
Guillermo was also happy to be visiting REACH today, thankful for the excruiating District Assembly but he did get some new ideas he will be introducing to the club, and was also thankful that the ensuite reno is complete.
Lynn was thankful she could block her ears when she was getting an earful from G for sending him to the District Assembly.
Paul has happy that the budget was approved for the update and reno to the Ladner Community Police Station. Paul also advised the club that the Community Police Van we provided funding for was on it's Last Legs (repairs are getting expensive). Paul is hoping we can look at helping out again "soon" (Lynn said it will be brought forward at the next Exec Meeting)
Peter is happy that Kay is back, happy that First West Credit Union (Envision is one of their divisions) has selected Launi Skinner as CEO (now the three largest credit unions in BC are led by women) and sad for the passing of Carl Liden & George Hawksworth (two outstanding Deltans). Also happy for two week driving holiday in the US which makes him very thankful to be Canadian.
Art was happy for the most rambunctious rendition of O Canada, thanks to Peter.
Graham was happy that he would be officiating at Leo and Diana's wedding this coming weekend.
