Hawaiian Lu Au on a sunny afternoon

The six-man A Perfect Alibi played some favourite oldies throughout the afternoon and into the early evening at a Lu Au party on August 13, 2016, hosted by Mike and Kathy Storey and their family, Jen & Lloyd, Crystal & Stephen.
Roast beef and roast park off the rottiserie and wide range of dishes were served, including a hui hou kakou. Rotarians, family and friends of all ages mingled and danced around the swimming pool, which many enjoyed on the warm, sunny afternoon, quite appropriately in the Sunshine Hills area of North Delta. Thank you Mike, Kathy and family.
A solo by a 14-year-old family member stole the show with her beautiful voice and, in keeping with the occasion, ukulele, as Denis Denischuk and Maria Durham enjoy the performance |
Linda and Ken Whitney and many others enjoyed the young soloist's singing performance |
Rotarians Rick Lewall and Chu Wu, with Carlene Lewall, catch up around the swimming pool |
The décor and food, with many in theme clothing reflected the Hawaiian Lu Au |
