Remembrance Day, a national and international memorial to the millions of men and women in military service who lost their lives or were wounded in wars over the past 100+ years, was observed by Rotary Club of Ladner in advance of the actual day on November 11, 2019. To mark the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918 when the hostilities of the First World War ended, Ladner Rotarians will march in the Remembrance Day parade through Ladner to join those from many organizations and Delta residents at the cenotaph in Memorial Park.
Royal Canadian Legion Branch 61 Ladner President Gerry Bramhill speaks on the theme of Remembrance Day, and is thanked by President Bridget Jacob and Peter Podovinikoff
