With the theme of "Serving with Imagination and Hope'', the Rotary entry, in the 135th annual Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena, California on January 2, 2023. won the 2023 Princess Award for most outstanding floral presentation among entries 35 feet and under in length.
 
Rotary has participated with a float in each annual parade since 1980, bringing our message of “Service Above Self” to over 40 million viewers annually and to more than 71 million, when pre and post live viewing and television and streaming broadcasts are included. The Rotary Rose Parade Float Committee, Inc. in Pasadena managed the project and Phoenix Decorating Company built the float at a cost of US$145,000, sponsored by individual Rotarians in the United States and Canada as well as clubs, Districts and corporate sponsors, at a unit cost of $.20 cents per live viewer or $.002 cents per viewer in the extended reach. The overall theme for the 2023 parade was, “Turning the Corner.” Rotary International President Jennifer Jones and her husband are seen at the front corner of the Rotary float at street level.
