Nurse Next Door, Delta co-owner Vikram Chib, and two of his colleagues, have joined Rotary Club of Ladner as corporate members, the second after Fortis BC. Ladner Rotary inducted Vikram as a new member on behalf of this team.
Vikram started life in India where he started his career with Johnson and Johnson India. Eventually he and his wife moved to the Sunshine Coast. After a period in banking, he and his partner founded the Nurse Next franchise in Ladner. Vik and his wife have two young daughters.
Vikram shares some of his personal life and news about his Ladner based franchise of Nurse Next Door which offers a range of in-home care services to seniors and individuals needing support.
The company's services include companionship, round-the-clock nursing care, and specialized care for Alzheimer's and Dementia patients. The company was launched in Vancouver, British Columbia, in September 2001 by, among others, the current Mayor of Vancouver Ken Sim, and has since expanded to over 400 franchise locations across Canada, the US, Australia, and England.
