The Delta Secondary School Interact club collected more than 160 large bags of clothing.  A full truck was loaded and donated to Big Brothers - well done Interact!!

Our DSS Interact Club completed a very successful school wide Clothing Drive at Delta Secondary from Nov 4-15th. Altogether, with the help of DSS students, staff, parents and Ladner Rotarians, we were able to amass over 160 blags of gently used clothing and all were donated to Big Brothers.

We had eight DSS students help load the Big Brothers truck with the bags and this took a good 15-20 minutes to do so as we had SO many bags!

Two large Dairy Queen Cakes were presented to the classroom winners - Ms. Huff's Humanities 10 (winner with 43 bags collected) and Mr. Sakakibara's Physics 11 - runner up (with 33 bags). The cakes were sponsored by the Rotary Club of Lander.

A big thank you to the members of the Rotary Club of Lander
