Well we beat the odds and the rain. Tom, Art, Tony Wideski, Graham and grandson Aidan, shoveled, wheelbarrowed, and hauled soil in a garbage can. We completed the job in under 2 hours. Not bad for a bunch of old farts and one youngster. Aidan worked hard and showed us how to put in the effort. The rain started during the last fifteen minutes of loading the planter. It got a bit mucky and slippery in that short period of time, however, through spectacular good luck no one slipped or fell, thus saving us from a multitude of whining and complaining. There is a chance we may hear a bunch of noise about sore muscles, aches and pains. Next step is for the master carpenters to put the capping on then we can turn it over to the ECU for replanting of flowers etc. T'was a job well done again. Thanks to Tom, Art, Tony, Graham, and Aidan for coming out to complete this vital step.
