As Verity Credit Union executive for 16 years in the Seattle area, Shari Storm oversaw marketing, IT, sales, investment services, innovation and strategy. Then she became a mother of three girls. That new career led to her book, Motherhood is the New MBA: Using Your Parenting Skills to be a Better Boss. As a parent she realized that people are motivated to get the job done in the workplace, not so much by the numbers, but when it's fun and what they enjoy doing.
Net.Banker named Storm "Innovator of the Decade." She led the Verity Mom campaign, became the first financial corporate blogger in the US and has been featured in American Banker magazine and developed a financial counseling system that saved the credit union millions of dollars during the financial crises.![]() | ||
