Paul Harris Fellow presentation

Peter Podovinikoff was presented with a three Safire Paul Harris pin by PDG Michael Cruise on January 21. This represents four PHF contributions.

Congratulations Peter and thank you. A contribution to The Rotary Foundation is an investment in the ideal of goodwill, peace and understanding. That is an ideal held high by Rotarians the world over, and one that Peter clearly shares.

It is because of gifts like this that The Rotary Foundation is able to carry out an array of programs that achieve beneficial changes in our world: improved living conditions, increased food production, better education, wider availability of treatment and rehabilitation for sick and disabled, new channels for the flow of international understanding and brighter hopes for peace.

What is Paul Harris Fellow Recognition?

Individuals who have contributed more than US $1000 to The Rotary Foundation Annual Program Fund, Polio Plus Fund or an approved Grant are recognized as Paul Harris Fellows. Additionally, individual Rotary clubs may from time to time honor individuals as Paul Harris Fellows. These honorees are individuals who meet high professional and personal standards set forth by Paul Harris. Paul Harris recognition is not limited to Rotarians.

A Paul Harris Fellow receives a special certificate and a gold pin. At the discretion of the Fellow's club, the Fellow may also receive a gold medallion on a blue-and-gold ribbon.

Multiple-time Paul Harris Fellows are recognized as they continue to contribute. Additionally, Paul Harris Fellows receive recognition points which they may contribute towards the recognition of other members as Paul Harris Fellows
