Pool Party at the Moschuk's

A wonderful pool party was held at Ray & Joanne's home in Delta. The weather, the location, the guests, the food and the games were perfect.....as were our hosts! Thanks to all for your donations to Covenant House. The clothing was delivered by Ray and Joanne, and gratefully appreciated!

Final results from the pool party activities:
Chin up Contest - Ray Moschuk did 7 (beating Mike Crouse, a guest, by a chin hair). Hula Hoop - Joanne Allin won and graciously donated her prize to Marly Boorman, a guest, who was such a good sport. Golf - Sandra O'Keeffe, a guest, proved a fearsome competitor (after three way tie!) Frisbee Throw across the pool - Art Birk was declared the winner with Tom Siba a close second! Compliments to both on their innovative strategies!!! ( Tom jumped and swam with his clothes on, and Art attempted to use a floating chair, and did well even though he ended up being bombarded by large sprays of water from the water guns available:))) It was an all around good time with the outside temperatures hovering around 34C and the pool at a refreshing 30C. The water felt like silk!
Thanks to Ulf Ottho for the emergency run to get another umbrella for the shade and more chairs. This should be declared an annual event!!
