Memorial Park was the location of the annual club installation of president and club officers
The first meeting of the new Rotary year and the installation of President Patricia and the new board was held on Tuesday, July 8th in Memorial Park – Ladner.
Thanks to Kathy and Mike Storey and family there was an awesome array of salads. Thanks to the members of the Rotary Club of Tsawwassen hot dogs, smokes and salmon burgers were cooked on the barbeque.
District Governor Ken and Peggy Wilson attend the installation. DG Ken thanked the members of the Rotary Club of Ladner for all their support for community and international projects. He encouraged everyone to Light Up Rotary in 2014-2015.
Assistant Governor Rick Lewall installed President Patricia as club president and challenged her to increase the club’s membership and service projects. DG Rick then installed the members of the club board of directors.
Past President Linda Cran passed the club’s Talking Stick to President Patricia as a symbol of her office as club president.
