Ladner resident John Donnelly counts among the latest concerts and community events he has produced the Barnside Harvest Festival in Ladner’s Paterson Park in September. The Rotary Club of Ladner provided parking services over the three-day event. John recalled the many types of events he has organized over the years and the challenges and rewards which accompanied them.
At one time John produced the Mumford & Sons concert in Surrey’s Holland Park, drawing about 25,000 music fans, the biggest crowd Mumford & Sons had played for to that date.
John has produced numerous Fusion Festivals in Surrey, a couple of Grey Cup Celebrations, several 2010 Winter Olympic events, Junofest Vancouver and countless other festivals. John is also a musician and has played in several bands.
He has performed locally at the Landing and the Legion with his son in his current band All The King's Men.
