Services to make our community of Ladner and Delta and better place to live will benefit when local residents and businesses celebrate with national pride in their neighbourhoods and on their street fronts with a flag of Canada planted on their front lawn for a week around each of three holidays in 2021.

With a donation towards community service projects, the Rotary Clubs of Ladner and Tsawwassen will plant a Canadian flag, on a 10-foot pole, on your lawn or in your garden around Canada Day, Remembrance Day, and Labour Day as a display of community and national pride for a donation of $60 for the season. Then they will remove the flags.

Proceeds will go to local community projects, such as the ones our two Rotary clubs have brought to Delta over the years, such as Rotary Park, Diefenbaker water park, Ladner Rotary Splash Park, Christmas lights and Santa event, high school student clubs, Christmas meals for Delta families in need, street clean up, Delta Hospital Christmas lights, support of special needs adults group, Easter Eggstravaganza, mini libraries in local parks, and much more.

Soon each community will have its StoryWalk for young children to read pages of books in sequence at stations along a trail.

The neighbourhood displaying the most flags will win a prize for the neighbourhood!
Show you and your neighbours are Canada Proud. That’s a win win!
