Ronald McDonald House BC provides a much needed, nurturing home away from home for sick children and their families where, together, their lives are enhanced through unconditional support, encouragement, friendship and love. Club members heard about the new Ronald McDonald House BC, which opened in July 2014, after moving from its original location of 30 years on Angus Drive in Vancouver, from Sarah Catliff, the Society's Development Director for Individual Giving. Ronald McDonald House BC also operates the Ronald McDonald Family Room at Surrey Memorial Hospital, a ‘home’ within the Hospital for families of pediatric patients.
