Lynn Cameron, who was not present at the October 27 meeting, received similar recognition from District Governor John Anderson.

District Governor John Anderson spoke to the club about this year's global Rotary theme promoted by our international President Ravi Ravindran: "Be a Gift to the World."
He also encouraged members to attend the District 5040 conference next April 28 to May 1 at the Chateau Whistler Hotel, where rooms are still available at low cost.
The importance of engaging and retaining members, as well as attracting new ones, The Rotary Foundation and its important work and next month's Day of Dialogue at the downtown Vancouver Wosk Centre, on the future of the District, were among topics covered by DG John on his annual visit to the club October 27, 2015.

Attending the DG visit lunch, at Augustine House in Ladner, was Assistant District Governor Rick Lewall (second from right), with Past President Guillermo Bustos and, across, Past District Governors, Chris and Penny Offer
