Rotary Foundation honours for club members
The Rotary Foundation honoured Mike Storey and Larry Pretty from the Rotary Club of Ladner for their support for Foundation programs.
PDG Penny Offer presented recognition on behalf of the trustees of The Rotary Foundation. She stated, “Your generous contributions to The Rotary Foundation are essential to securing and growing Rotary programs throughout the world. Your support will change the lives of children you will never meet.”
Larry and Denise Pretty were presented with pins and a crystal in recognition of their bequest of $10,000 to the Rotary Foundation. They have named The Rotary Foundation in their estate planning.
Bequest Society members are recognised, when they give $10,000 or more via their estate plans. All society members receive recognition from the Trustees of The Rotary Foundation, and donors can choose to receive an engraved crystal recognition piece and a Bequest Society pin.
Mike and Kathy Storey were presented with pins and an engraved crystal in recognition of becoming level one major donors to The Rotary Foundation.
Major Donors are recognised, when their cumulative donations reach $10,000. They can choose to receive a crystal recognition piece and a Major Donor lapel pin or pendant. Recognition items commemorate giving at these levels:
•Level 1: $10,000 to $24,999
•Level 2: $25,000 to $49,999
•Level 3: $50,000 to $99,999
•Level 4: $100,000 to $249,999
