The float was a decorated farm hay trailer, which Walt Hayward towed with this 1945 John Deere tractor, accompanied by 13 other Rotarians and friends plus five Delta Secondary School, Rotary-sponsored Interact Club members.

A main feature of the float was Rotary's seven Areas of Focus: Promoting Peace, Fighting Disease, Water, Sanitation & Hygiene, Mother & Child Health, Education & Literacy, Growing Local Economies, and Protecting The Environment.
