Rotary TV Auction 2009

This year's auction is scheduled for Saturday November 14. Jeff Norris is the chair with the committee comprising of Gerry Beltgens, John Anderson, Mike Storey and Adnan Hussain. We are exploring several new ideas this year including:
-Pairing Rotarian on air announcers with a young person that has Rotary connections
-Increased Banner Ad campaign
-Explore Pro-rating of auction proceeds on a club basis
-Increase auction donations by merchants (we want everyone to participate in gathering auction items, this committee will provide leads to Rotarians to help make this possible)
-Increased PR & promotions with a series of newspaper articles targeting merchant donations + public awareness of auction date
-Drawing North Delta Rotary back into the TV auction
As we organize this event, everyone will be invited to take part. We will be developing jobs/tasks for everyone in the club so can make this a successful event. The auction committee is looking forward to working with everyone on this project and having a lot of fellowship also.
