“Celebrate all of the glittering stars in the sky” is the latest story posted along the Ladner Rotary Story Walk off Admiral Boulevard in Ladner. Pages from the book are on display at 21 reading stations along the trail where parents and grandparents take their children and grandchildren for an educational outing. The current book on display is by acclaimed author Mary Lyn Ray and Caldecott Honor winner Marla Frazee. Rotary members post a new story each month.

From the book:
A star is how you know it’s almost night
As soon as you see one, there’s another, and another.
And the dark that comes doesn’t feel so dark.
What if you could have a star?

This month the storyboards received a mid-summer cleaning. Story Walk is a partnership with the Rotary Club of Ladner, the City of Delta, and the Delta Community Literacy Committee.

The Ladner Rotary Story Walk starts south of Neilson Grove Elementary School, 5500 Admiral Blvd, Delta, BC, near River Road.
