Charity Navigator rates 225,000 charities and ranks The Rotary Foundation among those at the highest level as it transforms Rotary members' gifts into service projects that change lives both close to home and around the world. Since it was founded more than 100 years ago, the Foundation has spent more than $4 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects. The Rotary Foundation helps Rotary members to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty.
 
Rotary Past District 5040 Governor John Anderson presented to Rotary Club of Ladner members on the value and function of The Rotary Foundation and appealed to members to consider making a donation, large or small within one's means, to the Foundation.
