City TV News producer Matt Graves, who recently joined Ladner Rotary, hails from Nova Scotia. He and his family have been living in the Ladner area since 2019, as we learned from his "getting to know you" classification speech to the club.
Matt began his career in retail and then information technology. Having taken a two-year community college course in film and TV, he started volunteering for Nova Scotia-based Eastlink.
With this new interest he was drawn to the Vancouver area as a film and TV production centre. He and his wife drove across Canada in 2018. In 2019 he started his work at Eastlink as a TV producer, writer and video operator. Two months ago he started his position at City TV.
Matt and his wife have a young adult son and daughter.
