Delta Chamber of Commerce has been the voice of business in Delta for almost 110 years. It is a federally-registered, non-profit corporation of businesses and community organizations originally established as the Delta Board of Trade in 1910 and became the Delta Chamber of Commerce in 1961. It is governed by the Board of Trade Act administered by Industry Canada.

Delta Chamber of Commerce serves as the only Chamber of Commerce in the City of Delta, British Columbia, Canada to create and maintain a prosperous environment for business, industry and commerce in our community, province and country.
 
The Delta Chamber of Commerce advocates on behalf of business, in Delta, and through associations with the BC Chamber of Commerce and the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, at the provincial and national levels.
 
Advocacy for members of late has included: the United States - Mexico - Canada Agreement; Transportation (tunnel traffic, short sea shipping, traffic, Tilbury and Annacis Island industrial parks, mobility pricing for roads); crime in industrial areas; crime in industrial areas; cannabis in the workplace; women in business; high-Speed internet access to the Delta business parks.
