2009 Rotary Baseball Trip
Let's make our annual baseball trip a SELL OUT, join us in Seattle to see the Mariners play the Texas Rangers on Sunday July 12........ still have 4 tickets and 4 bus tickets remaining for this excellent sporting event! If any members have friends or relatives still thinking of going, please ask them to join us and to let me know as soon as possible. A fun day is planned for all and the weatherman is supposed to co-operate for us by the weekend.

Major League Baseball....Sunday, July l2th...Seattle Mariners vs.
Texas Rangers...Safeco Field , at l:l0 p.m.
Bus to leave Town and Country at 8:00 a.m.
Once again this year, our seating location is FIELD level, just
beyond first base, heading into right field, in section ll6, rows 37
to 40.
Tickets: $48.50 ................these were purchased at $39.00
U.S. dollars over three months ago when the Canadian dollar exchange
was not very good. Our only consolation is that on
game day, these sell for $44.00 U.S.
Bus : $35.00 ..............the real fun way to go!...round
trip fare is still the best travel dollar in town!...Driver tip is
included.
This year for the border crossing, one will require a Passport,
Nexus card, or enhanced driver's license...best to carry your
Passport!
The bus will arrive at Safeco Field quite early. You can bring a
bag lunch but I would advise buying your drinks at the Park...there
are also some excellent eateries nearby for lunch. Ask me (Art) about
them!...Safeco Field has excellent food and a great variety,but is
pricey!
Check out the Mariners Team Store, and/or take in batting
practice. Bring your glove, as you might even catch a souvenir!
Tickets will be distributed to all, starting June 23rd in
Ladner, and June 25th at Tsawwassen meeting., to members and their
guests.
