July 11 Rotary Baseball Trip Sold Out!

It is baseball season again!...and for our good core of diehard fans in Ladner and Tsawwassen Rotary, once again we have arranged a "first class" event...our l2th year for Rotary Baseball.
     It's the Mariners vs. the world champion New York Yankees...need I say more?...love 'em or hate 'em, everyone wants to see the Yankees!
     Once again, through my son-in-law Steve, I was able to obtain excellent FIELD level seats-by making our purchase in early December!...Right FIELD level, Section ll4, in Rows 28 to 33...for those who receive my handout next week--see the map!.
     Tickets come directly from the Mariners office, so...no service charge!...price per ticket this year, for a Prime sunday game, is $47.00 U.S. funds...a sizable downpayment was made way back in December, so price translates into $49.50 Canadian funds....too bad our dollar was not at par then!
     CanTrail again will provide us with their always excellent Bus Service...Bus will leave from the Town and Country at  8:00 a.m., so we arrive in plenty of time for batting practice and early lunch. This is the real "fun way to go" as we all have found in the past!...Unfortunately, single day events after July 1st will be subject to the new HST...so, round trip Bus Fare will be $36.00 Canadian funds, up one dollar from last year....however, considering the very hefty price to park your car at Safeco, this is still the best travel deal in town!...and driver tip is included.
