Ladner Rotary sends humanitarian aid to Ghana

On August 8, 2015 members of the Rotary Club of Ladner and volunteers from several other Rotary clubs loaded a 40 foot sea container with medical and educational material for Ghana.  
 
 
The shipment included 22 hospital beds, surgical equipment, hospital supplies, wheelchairs, walkers, IV-poles, medical books, children’s books and a variety of related furniture.
 
The partner club is Ghana is the Rotary club of Accra South. Part of shipment is going to the University of Winneba, Ghana.
 
The container is being shipped by the Rotary Help Network. RHN is a multi-club and multi district Rotary project. RHN is a non-profit organization aimed at collecting and distributing medical equipment and supplies, dental, optical, 100 computers, education and disaster relief supplies to international recipients in need.  
The Rotary Club of Ladner is a member of the Rotary Help Network.

Funding was from the RC of Ladner, The Rotary Foundation – District Grant and Rotary Help Network.
