March 22, 2009 Delta Hospital Extended Care Unit Project
As you can see, great progress has been made by the motley crew..... Mike and Cathy Storey and Jon finished sealing the wall, (Initially power washed by Mike, Graham, Jon and Art), the old rotten, rotten, rotten flower bed has been torn apart, and incredible progress made on building a new planter box. Master carpenters, Don and Jeff, made the 11 required cuts, well at least 11 cuts, everyone lifted and lugged the freek'n timbers about, Don under explicit instructions not to drop one of the timbers  immediately upon hearing the words dropped in on my fingers ...... a12' ter. Gott's an ow'y!!!!!! (I know... poooooorrrrrrr BABY)
We still have to put poly inside the planter, put in some gravel, fill 'er up with soil and put on the capping boards. The wall has to be painted and the door completed on the garden shed. Then Voila, complete step number one and two.
The next stage is to power wash the deck and put on the concrete (3 step process) coating. This is under the capable guidance (leadership, counsel, dictatorship) of Irene and Mike.
Still lots of time for everyone to participate, so get your names in for the next part of this wonderful project.Â
Enough for now.
