Visitors from New Zealand

The speakers on December 10 were from New Zealand. The four students are part of the club to club exchange with the Rotary Club of Mount Maunganui, New Zealand.
 
 
Matua, Henry, Nina and Lukah gave a presentation about their family and some of the highlights of their country. With a series of photos and video they told the audience about the beauty of New Zealand. They included photos of Middle Earth the home of the Hobitts and Lord of the Rings. Matua spoke about Māori culture and believes on the creation of New Zealand.
 
All four commented on the weather and how cold it is in Canada.
 
The four Kiwis will spend the next few weeks home staying with Rotarians and visit the sites in Metro Vancouver and Whistler.
 
In July students sponsored by the Rotary Club of Ladner will visit New Zealand.
